Dear Ramblers,
I hurt my back last week after falling off a rowing machine. Welcome to back injuries at 40. Couple that with the Omicron variant battle I’ve endured this week, and I am all set on body attacks for at least a few weeks. More on that later.
For a man who doesn’t like summer that much (bugs and humidity), all this ice falling from the sky certainly makes me wish spring showed back up for a day or six. It has little to do with hot or cold temps. First and foremost, it just turns people into worse drivers. As in, going from a bad driver without any precipitation on the ground to things getting worse with snow on the ground, and then compounded by ice. That’s why I don’t like it. I can do the cold temps for another month or so. Keeps the mowing season at bay. I’m all stocked up on ice, which defies even the powerful 4-wheel drive tool.
