Streamers don’t make being productive easy. Granted, following an eight-hour work day with some Uber driving afterwards doesn’t leave a lot of candle under the wick--but the urge to get something done never really dies. Getting there is the hard part sometimes. Such as a time when HBO Max picks up Mad Men, or Netflix acquiring all the James Bond movies.

Hot take right off the jump: I don’t like all of the James Bond movies. In a conversation with someone who understands my mind like a very good-looking Sherlock Holmes, I landed on something that has been too hard to say as a film critic. It’s like saying Star Wars is overrated or “no I haven’t seen any of The Lord of the Rings movies.” The admission isn’t easy, but in time the reveal does come.

While I respect the older renditions of Bond and may go back to them when I am done binging Sopranos and Banshee two more times, I will state that the Daniel Craig films are my favorite because that’s the sort of Bond that I wanted. Rugged, fight-prone, trigger-happy, and still smooth and charming as fuck. Whoever does it next… good luck.

You’ll also get to read the rest of this Emilio’s lunch grab-bag special, because paid Buffet members get ALL of the goods. Let’s get into five things on my mind, the version that is suitable for everybody.

5) Iron W.T.F. Lung?
