Wednesday is here, and May is about gone. 2025 is rocketing by so fast that the ever-changing weather can be confusing to someone who doesn’t mind the cold and hates the heat. Time and the mind can play tricks on us. It makes us wonder how much time is being utilized, and how much is being wasted, never to be seen again. With that being said, here are a few *QUICK* things on my mind. If you stay too long, people won’t finish the article and will instead watch a few reels on Facebook.

#5-PIG is streaming on Netflix. If you enjoy eclectic Nic Cage roles and unconventional thrillers with a dramatic edge, give Michael Sarnoski’s cerebral 2021 gem a look. Before he directed the latest A Quiet Place adventure, the writer made his name by utilizing Cage in a very particular way. When the older man offers to buy the next bottle, step into Basil’s kitchen. It’s smooth, easy on the finish, and doesn’t hit too hard. The best ones don’t make you the drunkest; they make you sip slowly to savor the treat. If you want to avoid the beer highway, turn onto Whiskey Street and go slow.
