Buffa's Buffet: 5 things on my mind
What's in my head and needing to burst out exists here for today.
Good evening, everyone. Here is what I have to say for myself.
My own worst enemy, like most people, is my own mind. The uncontrollable urge to unleash any thought, idea, or potential hazard within a 15 mile radius of my life. So, when a potential job status change comes into my lane this week, I start thinking about all the bad shit about it: the side effects to my current life, the potential weight of more work, and the undying will for my brain to coat everything in dog shit colors.
And there's no way to stop or restrict these thoughts, which come flowing in like crazy and without pause. People in your world tell you everything that opposes those thoughts, but it doesn't slow them down. All part of being human and letting everything hit your shield, which happens to be your face. Anyway, I'm rambling. Let's do it better and get the daily dose of thoughts rolling. The buffet is open, so let's see what part of my head you find inviting. Oh, and please SUBSCRIBE!
I think the people who chirp you care about you. If not, they wouldn't chirp you. Case in point: Cam Janssen roasts the shit out of co-host Andy Strickland on their excellent podcast, The Cam and Strick Podcast. Every week, a good back and forth develops. But whenever Cam does crank up the chirp machine, there's always a lead in to a joke or a way for the former NHL tough guy to have more fun on the pod. Strickland handles it like a boss too, which helps the show thrive. If you're not listening, stop fucking around and subscribe. It's free! This post, or the rest of it, is unfortunately not free to unpaid subscribers. So, get on with it.
