Double decker tacos aren’t a delicacy, but a proven hunger quench for a guy who knows he won’t always be able to enjoy this shit. Let’s be honest, the body makes us pay for fast food consumption as we get older, a reality that this low level fast food junkie understands and combats with lots of sweat and exercise.
It’s not like I have it everyday and all day. I’m not Leaving Las Vegasing every McDonald’s in a ten mile radius, or the length of Kingshighway boulevard. But a fresh batch of French fries from McDonald’s or a burger from Sonic (best FF burger) hits the spot after a long day of delivering plumbing supplies to the greater St. Louis county area.
This afternoon after a merciless and never ending rain/sleet/snow tirade-STL is known for switching temps like a chihuahua changes moods-it was double decker time. After a long time without it on the menu, the Taco Bell favorite returned this month.
A crunchy taco inside a soft tortilla shell with beans smeared inside the two. Just big enough without being too small of a dish.
