Transparency is key in life, whether at a job or in recreational activities in your personal life or a hobby. One of the best ways to clear the air between a reader and a writer is to establish a street for inquiries. A mystery may become a case solved, or someone may know that other soul better afterward.
Let’s open the floor here for questions—a mailbag session, as the classier, sharper writers call it. “Ask me anything” means precisely that, but let’s cover some things before I bounce the ball to your side of the court.
Common topics:
~Movies, St. Louis Cardinals baseball, St. Louis Blues hockey, television shows, marriage after 20 years, local restaurants, pop culture, KC Chiefs melodrama, adulting blues, how to be average at lawn care, hot dog condiment essentials, which Star Wars movies stink, etc.
Topics I’m not a big fan of diving into but will if asked:
~Politics. One of my favorite subscribers, Scott, isn’t wrong about this. It’ll divide a list in half if you spend too much time rooting for one side. A bipartisan viewpoint doesn’t help, either. It’s like asking someone how they like their steak. Judgment is waiting like a hammer.
Topics I’ll answer without much knowledge:
~NBA basketball, MLS soccer (ask my man Paddy Houlihan instead), badminton tournaments, golf, Home Depot tools, sushi palettes, anything I don’t write about often, etc.
So, drop your questions in the comments or send them to me via email: buffa82@gmail.com.
Have a good day, and thanks for your attention.
Thanks for the mention. I’m just repeating what Frank O’Pinion stated, but it is true: no one ever wins.
