Sometimes, you have to sit down and talk it out. In this case, review the relatively new action adventure film, Plane.
Starring Gerard Butler and Mike Colter, the simply titled film doesn’t mess around with its sharp 107 minute run time, plunging audiences into a dangerous situation. Butler’s Captain heroically crash lands the plane after a terrible storm knocks their power-and them-out of the sky. Stranded in the Philippines with a convict suspected of murder (Colter) and a bunch of whiny passengers, Butler must contend with local guerilla armies and militia that would love a civilian trophy for their next live video.
Speaking of which, consider this the first of hopefully many videos (aimed to be 10 minutes or less) where I will review a movie or TV show, or discuss some local sports. It could just be me rambling on.
Give the video a look. Plane is still playing in select theaters, and is also available to stream from home on Amazon Prime for $20. If you like well-made action flicks that don’t need a sequel setup, it’s money well spent.
