For me, I give him this season to figure it out and next season to totally set his feet and take off. He has time. I think of it as the hitter getting one up on the pitchers, and then the pitchers adjust. From there, it's sink or swim. The Cards, though, don't have a clue what to do with him, or young hitters who struggle.
