Fans, "experts" complaining about lineups/announcers...a waste of time.

That's different to me, my friend. Lineups are a small aspect of the game that is determined by so many factors. That's part of a manager's job and the team. Announcers/color analysts are speaking to the fans; we are their audience. Same as my readers are my audience. It's perfectly fine to critique the beloved Jim Edmonds, the goofy Brad Thompson, and the esteemed Rick Ankiel. They are doing a job for a LOT of money and can receive criticism. If I can, they can! I know you take big offense to Edmonds catching flack but if he would shut up about his personal life, not talk over Danny Mac constantly, and stick to baseball, he wouldn't be criticized. However, like the millionaires he's talking about, I think he can handle it. So, I would place "lineup bitching" into a lower tier than "overly talkative color analyst who thinks he's the best at everywhere." But that's me.

I have no problem with Edmonds taking flaf. I have issue with it being night in and night out. It just gets so old and boring.

Fair enough. I only complain when he's really on a tangent. Haha. But, people do naturally like to complain. Enjoy my upcoming ramble, where I tackle the Tommy Pham anger trap.
