If there is one person to blame for you seeing more of my face, it’s Bernie Miklasz. The local sports columnist/podcaster is the most prolific writer I know, and he just keeps posting gems. That inspires little guys like myself to climb out of their writer shell and speak into a microphone. After a busy day of putting away 14 skids of Kohler plumbing supplies and some 20 foot copper pipe, I sat down for a conversation about the following topics:
*The biggest difference between the 2023/2024 Cardinals and this year’s team. Don’t mention playoffs, but they’re entertaining and hard to kill. They’re like Boris from Snatch.
*Oh, how about the idea of having a catcher who can hit 20 home runs every year? Hello, Ivan Herrera. He made Cardinals history today.
*The Blues were down 1-0 Tuesday night with 90 seconds to go, and still found a way to win. They have 89 points.
*Val Kilmer passed away on Tuesday at the age of 65, so I added a few spoken words to what I published this morning.
Come for the honest opinions, but stay for the moment where I nearly jump out of my seat due to the crashing thunder.
Yes, big guys get scared too. No, I didn’t pee in my pants. Well, maybe a little bit.
