There’s nothing worse than clicking the video on YouTube of the fitness asshat trying to sell you his 54 vitamin/curls all the time method, and only finding roadblocks between you and the actual material. Or, it’s just him being a holdout dirty diaper and collecting likes and watch time. So, I’m avoiding the buildup and hype of a normal podcast teaser, and just let you have it at it.
Consider this a reintroduction, along with some new material. A review of a sadly missed 2023 movie centering the GameStop stock boom, and a few fresh notes on my “whatever number it is” rewatch of HBO’s still dynamic series, The Sopranos.
The intro is due to the fact that the names have switched tables around here. Like an office of misfit toys changing desks yet carrying similar meanings, the title of the site is no longer “Ramble On, Buffa.” It’s “Buffa’s Buffet,” so the podcast, starting today and moving forward, will be titled “Rambling On.”
Brevity is my route here, because the download speed and capability of the home computer has been hit or miss lately. The 15 minutes are more of a “catch-up, it’s been a minute” instead of an exhausting 45-minute stint. The goal, which may not always be hit, will be 15-20 minute conversations. Once a week to start, but possibly more.
These will be free for a few weeks, but eventually be paid. If the paywall is up, something has to be paid along with the weekly “rants.” At the cost of one less latte a month, the ask isn’t too steep. The opinions, however, stand quite tall. Thank you, and enjoy the time.
